JLPT Practice App for N5, N4, N3, and N2
Hibi Mondai helps you prepare for the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test with daily grammar practice, adaptive review, quizzes, mistake tracking, and AI教師 feedback — one calm sentence at a time.
What is the JLPT?
The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is the most widely recognized certification of Japanese ability for non-native speakers, administered by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services. It has five levels, from N5 (basic) up to N1 (near-native), and tests vocabulary, grammar, reading, and listening.
Grammar runs through every section of the exam — it is the skeleton that reading and listening comprehension hang on. That is why steady grammar practice is the core of effective JLPT preparation, and why it is the core of Hibi Mondai.
Hibi Mondai is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the JLPT’s administering organizations.
Choose your JLPT level
Each level asks something different of you. Pick yours to see how daily practice fits your preparation.
Your first JLPT step — core particles, everyday verbs, and simple sentences.
Consolidate the basics — て-form patterns, plain form, and connected sentences.
Bridge to real Japanese — nuance, longer sentences, and natural texts.
Advanced precision — formal grammar, fine distinctions, and long-haul consistency.
Why JLPT preparation needs more than random exercises
Scattered drills feel productive, but the JLPT rewards something else: a grammar inventory you can actually use, kept fresh over months. Random exercises don’t know what you got wrong last week. They don’t come back to your weak patterns, and they never ask you to produce a sentence of your own.
Effective preparation is a loop, not a pile — encounter a pattern, use it yourself, get corrected, and revisit it before it fades. Hibi Mondai is that loop, sized to fit inside a real day.
How Hibi Mondai helps you prepare every day
Practice grammar, review weak points, and build the consistency that carries you to exam day.
- One grammar point a day
Each day opens with a single pattern and a short, calm explanation — the kind of grammar the JLPT tests directly.
- Write an original sentence
You produce the language yourself. Production exposes the gaps that multiple-choice practice lets you hide.
- Get AI教師 feedback
Your AI教師 responds in seconds — what worked, what to fix, and whether the pattern fits the context naturally.
- Review and quiz your weak points
Mistake tracking and short quizzes bring back the patterns you personally struggle with until they hold.
JLPT practice questions, answered
No. Hibi Mondai is a daily Japanese grammar practice app, and many learners use it simply to build a writing habit. But its structure — one grammar point a day, production practice, and adaptive review — maps naturally onto JLPT preparation, and JLPT candidates are who we design for first.
Hibi Mondai supports learners preparing for N5, N4, N3, and N2 — from first particles to the formal patterns that appear on the advanced exam.
Yes — that is exactly what it is built for. Each day you get one grammar point, write one original Japanese sentence, receive AI教師 feedback, and reinforce weak points with quizzes and review. Five minutes a day is enough to keep the habit.
No. No app can honestly guarantee a JLPT result. What Hibi Mondai provides is consistent, focused daily preparation — the kind of steady practice that gives you the best chance on exam day.
